Couples Therapy for Relationships Under Stress & Disconnection
Helping you break painful cycles, rebuild trust, and deepen connection.
When connection feels hard to find
You keep having the same argument again and again.
One of you shuts down while the other tries harder to connect.
Trust feels fragile and uncertain.
You feel more like roommates than partners.
You are not alone.
Many couples arrive here before learning new ways to reconnect, rebuild trust, and feel close again.
Couples I often work with
Every relationship faces unique pressures. I work with couples navigating challenges that can make connection feel difficult, but still possible.
Military Couples
Balancing service, transition, and high levels of stress while working to stay emotionally connected at home.
Couples Recovering from Betrayal
Rebuilding safety and trust after infidelity or relational injury while learning how to move forward together.
High-Conflict Couples
Feeling stuck in repeating arguments, emotional shutdown that leaves both partners feeling unheard and disconnected.
I work best with couples who are committed to their relationship and open to understanding the deeper patterns beneath conflict.
How I Support couples
Couples Therapy: Reconnect & Heal
Helping partners break painful patterns, improve communication, and rebuild emotional closeness.
Betrayal Recovery: Rebuild Trust & Safety
Structured support for couples repairing trust after deep hurt and working toward meaningful connection.
Military Couples Therapy: Stay Connected Under Pressure
Supporting connection during transition, stress, and reintegration.
My work helps couples understand the emotional patterns beneath conflict and build new ways of relating that feel safer and more connected. Together, we slow down the cycle, create space for understanding, and help both partners feel more secure in the relationship.

Meet Betina
Before becoming a therapist, I worked in high-pressure legal and military environments where calm leadership and clear communication were essential. Today, I bring that same steady presence into my work with couples navigating conflict, betrayal, and stress.
Betina is a Marriage and Family Therapy student intern supervised by Nella Ciciulla-Albrecht, LMHC (MH16147), in the State of Florida.
